What talents did you use? Unleash Life, Graceful Spirit, Lightning Surge Totem, Ancestral Guidance, Ancestral Protection Totem, Cloudburst Totem, High Tide.
Why did you pick Ancestral Protection Totem? It is really good during the arcane add phase. The extra 10% [hp] is very helpful. I used it on the second add (at the end). The chance of dying is higher there.
Can you describe the type of fight? It is a heavy single target fight, most of it. And then you get this short phase when you have to do a ton of AoE healing while moving. There is constant AoE. It is a bit weird not spamming Chain Heal as much. The fire adds are interruptable and stunnable (knockable and gripable as well).
Usage of Healing Tide Totem? During movement with the arcane adds.
Usage of Spirit Link Totem? I’m not sure what happened here. We used it while moving. We did a U-turn in the SLT while running, during the arcane add explosion. I popped HTT first, because it is up for longer (the entire add) and you have to move. So two seconds later I would drop SLT. There may have been some extra padding due to a [Darkness] combo.
Usage of Ancestral Guidance? There is this time during the first phases when people will drop. That’s when I use it. And on the last arcane add I had it available, so I used it there as well (the boss was about to die).
Any other comments regarding your spell breakdown? In hindsight, I should have used Undulation on this fight instead of Unleash Life. We should have 5-healed, not 4-healed.

What talents did you use? Torrent, Graceful Spirit, Lightning Surge Totem, Ancestral Guidance, Earthen Shield Totem, Echo of the Elements, High Tide.
Why did you pick Earthen Shield Totem? I think this fight is great for APT and EST. There are two spikes in the fight and you could compensate this with APT once (unless you have two shamans). We only had one shaman.
Can you describe the type of fight? A lot to heal. This boss is pretty sensitive in terms of positioning. During frost you have a melee camp with the tank, a tank far away, and the ranged on a marker. Both camps take damage and are interesting for your Healing Rain. You have to focus the (4) frost marks. Very inconvenient to heal. It is a very cooldown sensitive fight. It is a hard fight to play as a shaman. We have a lot of slow casts, which produces a general low number of casts. That makes it difficult for us in the frost part of the fight. You will constantly struggle to make split second decisions in trying to keep frost marks alive while you are trying to do what you have to do. Especially, if you also have to bounce the frost marks.
Usage of Healing Tide Totem? Used it twice during the same period: at the end of the arcane phase. When all the arcane orbs collapse and deal damage, and for the cleave. The most damage hectic part of the fight.
Usage of Spirit Link Totem? Also on top of the HTT: you can see it did a lot of healing. Before she resets and goes back to frost, the copy starts cleaving the raid. As she is cleaving, you also have these orbs spawn on your position that you have to move away from. You want them close to minimize movement. When the orbs land, they deal a lot of damage. We moved grouped to deal with that: that is when you pop your SLT. I popped it as we are about to finalize our movement. When we stop I pop my HTT, so it heals the group back up from the obs and deals with the cleave damage.
Usage of Earthen Shield Totem? They were planned out on this fight. My first EST is pretty much used on the pull, wasted but it doesn’t matter. Mostly used for absorbs on the tanks. Then I wait for the first frost elementals to spawn and move into the melee camp. Then I pop the second one (pretty much off cd). The third one lines up with the fire adds, the fourth lines up with the end of the arcane phase.
Usage of Ancestral Guidance? It can be used in several ways here. You can try to be impactful or to maximize your HPS. Two of my AG’s don’t do a lot of healing (obviously also because I didn’t run CBT here). I made sure I had one AG for each frost phase. When the frost phase transitions into the fire phase (when you’re in the fire phase but you still have the frost orb) I pop my AG. I mostly cast single target heals, but it acts as a buffer to keep people up.
Usage of Spiritwalkers’ Grace? Extra handy when you’re dealing with the orbs. But you want to have it up for the arcane phase, when you move as a group. Then you want to be constantly spamming Chain Heal.
Any other comments regarding your spell breakdown? I used Riptide as spot healing on the marks. Echo was nice because you don’t play with Crashing Waves (which you don’t, because you play with AG). If you combine AG and CBT, you are going to be spending a lot of Healing Waves without Tidal Waves (slow HW’s). So what Echo of the Elements does is, it smoothens out your single target healing. Because you have more Riptide’s that you can spot heal people with. You also get more Tidal Waves [speading up your Healing Waves]. It adds more convenience to your single target healing. You can definitely play CBT on this fight, but I wanted to take care of the frost marks as good as possible.

What talents did you use? Undulation, Graceful Spirit, Lightning Surge Totem, Ancestral Guidance, Ancestral Protection Totem, Echo of the Elements, High Tide.
Why did you pick Ancestral Protection Totem? It lines up perfectly. You pop it on the first frost phase, and the last arcane adds.
Can you describe the type of fight? The first phase (frost), is a lot of single target healing on spread out targets. You can’t reliably Chain Heal all of them. I cast 2/3 Healing Waves to top, and then one Chain Heal. Secondly, there is the fire phase. Not a lot is going on. You can Chain Heal in that phase, that is enough. In the third (arcane) phase, you group up and kite adds. You stop at a certain spot and pop cooldowns.
Usage of Healing Tide Totem? Used it in the frost phases (assigned).
Usage of Spirit Link Totem? At the end of the movement with arcane.
Usage of Ancestral Guidance? I used it in the frost phase as well, whenever I was spamming the people with frost debuffs.
Usage of Spiritwalkers’ Grace? In the arcane phase, from the start of the kiting to the point where I link. You can use SWG in phase 1 if you are affected by the orbs. The raid relies on you topping off targets, even when you have to move in that phase.
Any other comments regarding your spell breakdown? In phase 2 with the fire, you can do a lot. You can interrupt adds and stun them.
