Guild: Pieces (Draenor – EU) / Current world progress rank of the guild: 35 / World rank of the kill: 6 (wowprogress incorrect due to bug) / World rank mythic Helya: 10 / World rank mythic Xavius: 12 / Raid days: first mythic day 15 hours (split runs), first two weeks 7 days per week at least 5 hours per day / Split runs: 3 / Number of pulls: 10ish / Logs: not public / Video of the kill: not available / Number of healers used: 4 / Setup: druid, paladin, disc priest, shaman / Set bonus active: 2p / Legendaries: Prydaz + Tidecallers / Trinkets: Urn 875+S + Map 890.
Spell breakdown:

Champls: “Our logs bugged, I don’t have any info. When we killed Krosus the achievement didn’t show up. We did get loot. A GM fixed the issue later. That is why our achievement ‘arrived’ later and our kill registry deviates.”

What talents did you use? Unleash Life, Wind Rush Totem, Lightning Surge Totem, Ancestral Guidance, Ancestral Protection Totem, Cloudburst Totem, High Tide.

Why did you pick Wind Rush Totem? I used mine to help people get to the add soaking on time.

Why did you pick Ancestral Protection Totem? In the end you take a ton of damage. That is when I drop it.

Can you describe the type of fight?  AoE, AoE, AoE. But it is not constant, it is periodic. AoE, nothing happens, AoE, nothing happens. Tanks get hit pretty hard, but our paladin took care of that. The stun totem is great for stunning the adds: TIP! Also, you can interrupt the adds with Wind Shear (another TIP!).

Usage of Healing Tide Totem? We never really made it to the end. We made our disc priest solo heal everything except for the adds. That is when we used tranq/HTT. We 4 healed (most 3 healed this fight). We could do that because the disc carried and the healers were DPS’ing for 30-60% of the fight.

Usage of Spirit Link Totem? In the end, there is “an orb into a slam, into a burning pitch” in a few seconds. If you use your SLT there, it’s perfect!

Usage of Spiritwalkers’ Grace? Nothing special. On the last platform, if you get targeted by the orb, you can use it to run out. Nothing huge to pair it with.

What talents did you use? Torrent, Graceful Spirit, Lightning Surge Totem, Ancestral Guidance, Ancestral Protection Totem, Echo of the Elements, High Tide.

Why did you pick Ancestral Protection Totem? I think APT is good here, it adds another cooldown. This fight is all about cooldowns, as you only have 3 healers. Earthen Shield Totem is terrible at this boss fight, as there is not really frequent ticking damage. Krosus is all about heavy periodic damage.

Why did you pick Echo of the Elements? We struggled with tank healing on this fight. So I wanted to have Riptide’s rolling on the tanks and focus single target healing on them. Echo isn’t bad for this fight, CBT is probably better for HPS.

Can you describe the type of fight?  Heavy, constant, predictable, bursts of damage. But there is time in between, so you can prepare for it. Cooldown planning is the only thing that matters in this fight. All healers used a damage potion on the pull and DPS’d at the start. As it is a 3 healer fight, there is a lot of healing to do. It is not super stressful, but you have to push a lot of healing. All cooldowns are planned. This is the one boss where you feel like you are reaching the cap of what your class can push out in terms of healing.

Usage of Healing Tide Totem? Planned out. I used it fairly early so that I can have it up at the end. First one at the 1 minute marker, the second one at the 5 minute mark.

Usage of Spirit Link Totem? Twice, fairly early for just a smash, and then towards the last platform (last orb). We paired the link with Darkness (Demon Hunter ability). The wombo combo of this tier. Spirit Link takes away the RNG of Darkness.

Usage of Ancestral Guidance? At pretty specific moments. At the very beginning, for the first orb, for no particular reason, healers were DPS’ing. So I carried that moment with AG. It then lines up again for when you soak the first adds (when people are spread out). My third AG when the adds spawn again.

Any other comments regarding your spell breakdown? It looks as you would expect it to look. Chain Heal and Healing Rain are doing a lot of healing. One thing you can do is run Deluge on this fight instead of AG probably.

Halucinogen

What talents did you use? Torrent, Graceful Spirit, Lightning Surge Totem, Ancestral Guidance, Ancestral Protection Totem, Echo of the Elements, High Tide.

Why did you pick Torrent? I want to cast all the Riptide’s I can. I acquired the 4 set, and now I prefer casting Riptide’s over single target casts. And when you 3-heal, all HoT’s are valuable as well. I didn’t tank heal as much. The paladin and the druid took care of that.

Why did you pick Ancestral Protection Totem? It was needed for the last part of the bridge, on the last set of adds. So I use the 10% hp [of the AP], my SLT, my HTT, and the back up ress from APT of course. I used it on the pull as well, because there was time.

Can you describe the type of fight? When you come to the last parts of the bridge, people are pretty stacked up. But on the first bit, people get spread when they soak the adds. So they’re not always really stacked up. The damage is predictable.

Usage of Healing Tide Totem? The first set of adds and the last adds. Pre-assigned.

Usage of Spirit Link Totem? Somewhere on the start, and on the last adds. The last one was pre-assigned.

Usage of Ancestral Guidance? I used it for the first slam, and then just on cooldown. Whenever it lines up with damage (slam or meteor).

Usage of Spiritwalkers’ Grace? When you go to soak the adds and run back after. That is when you move the most. Depends a bit on where you are assigned.

Any other comments regarding your spell breakdown? There are a few hard parts of the fight, and that is where you plan your cooldowns. At the other parts you just make sure the raid is stable.
